Hi, my name is Lex Gross & I am the founder and baker here at First Class Sweets!
I fell in love with baking at a young age and realized my desire to become a baker at age 12 when my mom and I took our first cake decorating course. Since then, baking has become my passion, my hobby, and my love language. Creating cookies, cakes, and everything else brings me so much joy, and there’s nothing more rewarding that sharing those creations with others!
I’m incredibly excited to be able to share my baked goods to a larger community and can’t wait for you to try them. Whether you’re ordering one of our treat flights, individual sweets, or catering for your next event, every item is made with love and care!

Behind the Name
People often ask where the name First Class Sweets came from, and the answer is one of my favorite parts of my story.
My partner works in private aviation, and his career inspired the name. Being around the aviation world introduced me to the idea of "first class" as more than just a seat on a plane—it's an experience. It's thoughtful details, exceptional service, and making people feel like they're getting something special.
That inspiration blended perfectly with my love of baking.
I wanted to create desserts that felt just as exciting to receive as they are to eat. From beautifully packaged cookie flights to custom cakes and fresh-baked treats, every order is designed to feel a little elevated, a little unexpected, and a whole lot delicious.
The name also pairs perfectly with one of my favorite things to create—my signature treat flights. Just like sampling destinations on a journey, each flight lets you experience multiple flavors in one box, making every bite a new adventure.
At First Class Sweets, my goal is simple: serve handcrafted desserts with first-class quality, first-class care, and just the right amount of fun. Because everyone deserves a little first-class treatment—no boarding pass required.
